Powering Community Connections
Welcome to Sheppey Pulse Network
A grassroots, voluntary charity driven by the power of community.
We exist to uplift, empower, and connect — supporting local initiatives, amplifying the efforts of smaller community-based charities, and guiding residents to the help they need. When no one else is there, we step in. When support is missing, we build it.
We don’t just fill gaps — we create pathways to belonging, wellbeing, and lasting change.
Whether you're a resident looking for guidance, a volunteer wanting to give back, or a small charity in need of support,
Sheppey Pulse Network is here for you.
Join us. Be the heartbeat of change in Sheppey & Swale.

Community Engagement

S.P.N. – Sheppey Pulse Network
Built on the principles of:
S – Solidarity
We stand together as one community, supporting residents and local organisations through life’s challenges. Whether you're seeking help or offering it, everyone is valued and no one is left behind.
P – Progress
We believe in moving forward as a collective, empowering individuals and smaller groups with the tools, information, and encouragement they need to grow, thrive, and create lasting change.
N – Neighbourhood
At our core, we are about community — fostering a sense of belonging, connection, and shared responsibility. We celebrate inclusion and respect, ensuring every voice is heard and every person is welcome.
About Sheppey Pulse Network
Sheppey Pulse Network is a voluntary, non-profit community charity serving the residents of Sheppey and Swale. We are dedicated to meaningful local initiatives, grassroots support, and creating opportunities that reflect the real needs of our community.
What makes us unique is our community-led approach—we are guided by the voices of local residents, many of whom have lived experience with the very challenges we aim to address. Our work is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and a deep understanding of neurodiversity, mental health, homelessness, substance and alcohol abuse, and chronic illness. We signpost individuals to relevant support services and partner organisations, helping to create safe, accessible spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
We hope to specialise in bridging gaps between people and services, offering clear, compassionate signposting through collaboration with local charities and community groups. In the near future, we hope to expand our impact by delivering practical tools and opportunities—such as workshops, fundraising initiatives, and inclusive community events—that empower individuals and bring people together.
Since October, we have supported six local charities and organisations through successful community donation drives, providing essential items and resources to those in need across Sheppey and Swale. In December 2024, we launched our first annual Community Christmas Living Advent Calendar competition, starting a new tradition to bring festive cheer to the area. As part of a last-minute, three-week initiative, we also organised a toy and clothing donation drive that supported families in hardship—ensuring 32 children received gifts and warm clothing during the holiday season.
At the heart of Sheppey Pulse Network is a belief in connection, empowerment, and belonging. By sharing relevant community information and building strong local relationships, we aim to foster a more resilient, informed, and united community.
Together, we are building a brighter future for Sheppey and Swale—one connection at a time.
